The film "Geology of southern Libya" summarizes the present geological knowledge of the region and provides modern, state-of-the-art training material to be used in individual or group training. Desert outcrop scenes integrated with subsurface data form the core of the film and are supplemented by 3D satellite flights, conceptual 2D- and 3D-animations and modern analogue facies equivalents. Senior geological experts are interviewed introducing the various key elements in the geological history of the region.
